Its platform proposes,.to secure' the country from the possibility of successful invasion, after which it deals with the more difficult and intricate task of evolving a- system of national government, under which poverty shall be minimised, disease extirpated, and the commonwealth of all, guarded ishment; National Bank and Commonagriinst the rapacity ofjthe few. Its platform implies that there shall be ho' right of vetoi on. 1 ! Commonwealth legislation by the; Crown or" the High Court; that there shajl be a white Australia; that party government shall be abolished; that.thef - e shall be the right to make - treaties with foreign Powers and appoint Consuls; compulsory citizens' defence liforce, and an Australian navy biiilfc', Manned, and absolutely, controlled "by Australians; the abolition of State Governments, Parliaments and Constittitions; adequate wages for all; abolition of capital punishment ; National Bnid and Commonwealth coinage; that ionly Australians shall own lands and Jinihes, and that there shall be abo'litipii of all titles.
