TEMUKA STOCK MARKET. The usual fortnightly sale was held nt the Temuka yards yesterday, when the yarding comprised 2730 sheep. 50 cattle, and 46 pigs'. For sheep'of all descriptions there was a {rood demand, abd with the exception or a few pens ■ot breeding ewes and store wethers, the balance of the yarding changed hands. Regarding the passed lots, it was considered that full market values were offered- Cattle. —The prices for fats • viere well-up to'rece'nt values, 'while ii stores prices show a sharp rise on lAte rates. Sales were made as fol-lows-:—Sheep.—Fat ewes lis 3d. 12s SL 12s 6d, 13s. 7d to 14s 5d ; do. wethers, 30 at 15s Id, pen do. at 15s 23. 50 at 14s 9d, pen 'merino wethers at 9s 7d: do. lambs. 7 at 12s 6d, 46 at 13s lOd, 27 at 13s 6d. 40 at 16s -3d, 17: at 15s 7d; stores, 40 wethers sit lis 3d. 127 lambs at 13s 2d. 171 wethers at 12s 7d. 69 lambs at 13s Bd, 32 old ewes anil 38 lambs' at 7s, 15 ewes with lambs at 10s 4d, 100 two-tooth ewes and wethers at 12s, 50 ewes with lambs at lis 3d. 12 old ewes at 9s 3d, 30 ewes and 33 lambs at lis 7d. Cattle.— Fat heifers at £5, £5 2s Gd to £0; fat cows at £4; 10s to £5 ss; stores. < steers at £5 2s 6d. 2 heifers at £2 10s, Tk-ri steers at £2 15s. 2 do. at £2 lGs. 7 steers and heifers at £2; milch cows at £2 10s, £3. £4 5s to £5 10s: springers at £4 15s, £■), £■> 10s to £7. •
