Arising out of a quarrel over alleged touting for information regarding the pi'ospects of \Vooton's horses winning, R. Wooton, the Australian owner-trainer, was ordered to find sureties to keep the peace towards J M. Bell, a i;acehorse owner. AVONDALE DISQUALIFICATIONS. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Jan. 19. At a meeting of tlie Metropolitan Committee, held to-night, the disqualifications recently imposed by the Avondale Jockey Club were considered, with the result that the following were endorsed: —S. G. Lindsay, owner and trainer of Royal Soul't, two years; Mark Ryan, rider of Royal Soult, two years; A. Julian, six months; H. Peel, twelve months: P. Smith, .six months. It was decided to hear the appeals of N. Cunningham, A. Whittaker, and the owner of Lucio on Thursday next.
