THE S.S. TONGARIRO IN COLLISION. Press Association-By Telegraph-Copyright LONDON, Nov. 27. The Tongariro collided with the Drmulanrig off Dover. The Tongariro anchored at Dover, badly damaged forward. Her fore peak is full of water, and it is feared that she will have to be beached. The Drumlanrig was beached. Received 12.20 a.m.. Nor. 29th. The Tongariro, after temporary repairs, will return to London and discharge. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHI'RCH, Nov. 28. The New Zealand Shipping Company to-day received the following cable from their London office: —" The Tongariro is at Dover. She has been in collision with the steamer Drumlanrig. The Tongariro is seriously damaged, and must return to London. Nobody is injured." The Tongariro left -London on Thursday for Plymouth, and was to have left Plymouth to-day for Wellington.
