The harbour staff have gone over with lifiMsaving geaf. There is tremendous excitement in the town, and hundreds are preceding to the ecene. Lines were got ashore from the Hawea, and the icrew are■, in no danger. The steamer's „■position is a very bad one. Later. The crew got ashore safely.
