DUNEDIN, August 24. Mary Gray, an elderly resident of Raverobourne, ■ was admitted to .(.lie Hospital with a. broken leg last. Tutisday, and died from pneumonia this morning. .
A young mail mimed Fred. Corskie met with a very nasty accident near Geraldine on Saturday evening. He> was driving a waggon ioaded with five tons of fertiliser for Mr ; B. Tripp, and_ when near Mr P.' Lysaglit's place, in climbing down the side he slipped and the wheels of the waggon-passed over, his left side. The bones "of the left foot were; crushed, the left knee lacerated, exposing the blood vessels and the left, arm cut and broken; He lay for an hour until picked up by Mr Lysaght. Dr Patenion was sent for aiid he set the broken bones and stitched and dressed the wounds . and. the injured man was corn-eyed to Thnarji hospital on Sunday morning. ; v
