GREAT OIL FIRE IN MEXICO. PJress Association-By Telegraph-Copyright MEXICO, Augubt 4.A gieat oil file occuned at Tampico, in Mexico. Millions of gallonb of oil \iere burned, and the fire culminated in a terrific explosion, tearing a vast hole in the- earth 1500 feet 'wide. CHICAGO GRAIN ELEVATORS DESTROYED. NEW YORK, August 4. A fiie at Burlington dqck in Chicago destroyed two ©levators, and over half a million bushels of grain. CONFLAGRATION IN BRITISH COLUMBIA. VANCOUVER, August 4. On Saturday morning the fire appeared on the coast' mountains west of Fernie, and ran dounwaide enwrapping the town. Sis thousand inhabitants are now encamped on the prairie. Some buildings at Michel were dynamited and the town was saved. The Government are sending relief.
