' RESOLUTION ACCEPTING TENDER FOR LEASE OF LAND. TJSE following Resolution passed by the Timaru Borough Council on the | 22nd day of May, 1908, will be -submitted for confirmation by Special Order at a Special Meeting of the said Council appointed to be held at the Borough Council Chambers on the 22nd day of June, 1908, at 7.30 p.m. '• In pursance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by 'The Public Reserves Act 1881"' and 'The Municipal Corporations Act 1900,' 'the Timaru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:"1. That the'tender of Messrs John Jackson and Co., Ltd., Timaru, for the lease of Pail Reserve 147 'situate in the Borough 'of Timaru for a period of seven years from the 12th dav of March, 1907, • at the yearly* rental of £4O payable half yearly on the 12th days of September and March in-each year, and to be computed from the Ist day of September 1907 be accepted", * as the said Reserve is nob likely to be required during the proposed tenancy for the purposes lor which it is held.
