Til-.* new Y.M.C.A. buildings in Wellington were officially opened thi.i afternoon in the. presence of a, vi-rv large number of visits. Mr J. G. W*. Aitken, M.P., presided, and among those present were Sir Joseph and Ladv Ward. Hon. G. Fowlds, Hon. T. W*. Hisloj and Mrs Hislop and Mis W. R. Williams (who gave the site for the building). The official opening was performed by Mrs William--. The'building with ex t ran dot about £14,000, and about £2OOO is now required for furnishing.
