OBITUARY.
DUKE OF FUNERAL, Pi ess Association-By Telegraph-Copyright LONDON, March 29.
The Duke of Devonshire was buried, with the simplest ceremony. Two retainers watched the cofiin at Edensor church. At midnight, the mourners, including lepresentatives of the King and Kafeer, met in the church, and the workmen, on the estate, and the gamekeepers, assembled in the Cavendish private burial ground. Tho Duchess was present in a bath chair. A memorial service wns held in St. Margaret's church, and' all Ihe. leading politicians were present. SHIPPING DIRECTOR DEAD. LONDON, March 29. Af..
