AUCKLAND, February 29. The Methodist, Conference resumed its sittings to-day. The new president, the Rev. C. E. Beecroft, occupied the chair. The chief business was the election of a stationing committee as follows -.—Auckland district —Rev. G. Bond and Rev. S. Griffiths, Messrs Ambuiv, Shackelford, and! T. Allen ; Wanganui district —Rev. T. G. Brooke and Rev. C. K. Beecioft, and Messrs E. Dixon and J. G. Cobbu ; Wellington district—Rev. I'. W. Fairclough and Rev. Mr 'Lawry, and Messrs J. Prouse and G. Tiller; Nelson district— Rev. C. H. Garland and Rev. C. E. Penny, and Messrs A. Lucas and I. Harris; Canterbury district—Rev. Mr Dewsbuiy and Rev. A. Joughlin, and Messrs R. H. Turner, J. A. Flesher, and W. Harding; Otago district—Rev. W. 5-iado and Rev. D. J. Murrav, and Messrs E. Rosevear and J. F. Arnold, M.P.
