The Wellington Rowing Association regatt'ta was held at Petone on Saturday. The water was a. trifle lumpy at first but calmed down. Results
Maiden Fours; one . mile; first) prize £B, second £2 —Star 1, Petone 2, Canterbury 3. Won by three lengths; one foot between second and third.
Senior Fours, 2 miles; first prize £ls, second £s—Blenlieim 1, Canterbury 2, Picton 3. Star also -started. Won by three lengths ; the same distance between second and third.
Junior Clinker Fours; lj mile; first prize £B, second £2—Union 1, Picton 2, Star 3. Won by a quarter of a length after an exciting finish; four lengths between second and third.
Senior Double Sculls ; mile ; first- £B, .second £2. —Wanganui 1, Wellington 2, Star 3. Union also started. Won by a length and a half. Maiden 'Doable Sculls; 1 mile; first prize £5, 'second £l.—Blenheim 1, Picton 2. The only starters." 'others being tffo. late in coming to the post. Won. by two and a. half lengths. Youths' fours ; 1 mile ; first prize £B, .second £2.—Canterbury 1, 'Star 2, Wellington 3. The only starters. "Won by a length and a half.

Senior Pair.s; K mile: first prize £B, second £2.—Canterbury 1, Blenheim 2, Union 3. Also started—Picton and Star. Won after a good finish by two lengths. Senior Sculls, 1£ mile; prize, Pearce trophy and £5, second £1. —McDonald (Wanganui) 1. Fell (Star) 2, McKinley (Wellington) 3. Won easily by three and a, half lengths. McKiuley was a bad third.
