Fortunately several speculators ■were operating, 'and with the assistance of local and outside buyers totalling 25. we are pleased to report a fairly satisfactory sale. Fine wools of all descriptions showed fi drop of Jd to Id per lb on the previous sale quotation: low crossbreds. however, maybe- quoted at par to £d higher: scouring lots as nsual at this centre brought full market valmK. liuring the seai-.on we have offered 4045 baks. at auction, liesides ptivate sales which total 520 hale*, making our turnover 4565 bales, which is va decided increase on the previous season.
