FIRES.

To-night the premises occupied by 'lent and Friar, general store-keepers, and .). U. Cox. dentist, were totally destroyed by fire. A good pressure of water was available and the fire was stopped from spreading. There was no wind. A small amount of good; was salvaged. The fire had a good hold when the alarm was givon. The insurances are unaseertainable.
