Per Press Association. DUNEMX, Jan. 9. The lift tenth Primitive Methodist Conference met this afternoon, over one hundred delfgaten and visitors being present. . The Rev- iMr Wa-vd was in the chair. [l,he Rev. ill' Olpliert was appointed president, Mi" Rud ; d vice-president, and the Rev. Mr Southern secretary. The Rev. Mr Flanagan (England) received a. hearty welcome.

Committees ewre appointed. The presidents address will be delivered to-morrow. In the evening the church was crowded to hear a sermon by the Rev. J. Flanagan on "Fruits of Prayer," showing that prayer is a revelation of the unseen, a. glorification of the commonplace and a> transfiguration of the life. The sermon sustained the eviingelLst s gieafc reputation, being a masterly deliverance.
