Merry Morning has won the following Prizes :—First at Fort William and Castle Douglas Shows in Scotland; first at Dunedin Summer Show 1904, and firßb and champion at the Taieri Show in 1904, and first and champion at Miltbn in 1906. Merry Times' dam was' Princess May; sire Crown Prince (430); dam S.ady Maud (883), sire Lord Cranley (300). Second, dam Little Mary (885), by Young Banker; third dam Molly (879), by Clansman; fourth dam' Mary, by Crown Prince (61); fifth dam Kate, by Prince of Wales (imp). Princess May was not shown until- four years of age. She was second at Timaru and Ashburton as a dry mare in rings of ten shown on each occasion, and beaten; only by her stable companion Jean. Princess May and Jean were first the same year as pairs at Christchurch. Princes* May was second in Oamaru in 1905 as ar brood mare, and was second at the International Show in ; Christchurch in 1906, arid first in Oamaru as a brood mare 1906. Lady Maud, the, dam of Princess May, was champion at Ashburtion and Christchurch in 1903, and also ten first prizes on other occasions./, : Little Mary has also' taken eight first,prizes at different shows. Merry Times, is a beautiful bay colt, rising three years, with perfect action, feet and pasterns, good thoroughly sound and good tempered. So it will be seen that Merry Times combines the best blood in Scotland, and the very best Clydesdale blood in New Zealand, ; , which combines Baron's Pride,; Lord Salisbury, Young Banker, Prince of Wales. ■.
