Biddinn- was brisk and prices for well finis"" "sorts showed an advance of from 10s to 15s per head on last- weeks Kites. Biddin"- for light weight and inferior cattle, of which not nuinv came forward was not so keen and they sold hardly up to late values. Best bullocks £ll to £l2 ICs. extra to £l3 2s 6d, medium £9 10s to £lO ICs,* 'inferior from £7 15s to £8 - ICs, best cows and heifers £9 to £lO, extra to £ll 17s ~6d, medium from £7 10s to £8 ss. Sheep—llßs were yarded, the quality in the majority of cases being very good. Prices' on account of the small yarding advanced about 2s per head. Best we them 27? to 50s 6d. -extra heavy to 31s 9d. good 25s to 26s 9d, medium 22s to 245, lin-li[ and inferior 2Cs to 21s 6d, best vues 22s to 23s 6d, extra to 2fs, medium to good 18s to 20?, shorn wethers 20s to 21s, shorn ewts to 20s. In fat lambs 97 were penned, the majority vet'y small and light, bat- anything of good quality sold well, best at 18s to 22s 9d, medium 16? 9d to 17s 6d. light 13s 6d to 15s. Pigs.—lso were penned ; puckers,' slips and stores were in good demand and showed a slight- advance on late rates but fat pigs were easier. Suckers 15s 6d to 17s 6d, slips 18s to 235, stores 25s to 325, porkers 35b to 435, light baconers 45s to 53?,. heavy do. 55s to 635, choppers to 745. DUXEDIX' GRAIN MARKET. Wheat. —The market is still very bright bet owing to the easier tone ixi Sydney < buyers are inclined to stand off and very little business is passing. All medium milling offering is being bought as fowl wheat-. Prime milling 6s Id to 6s 3d. medium milling and fowl wheat_ 5s lid to 6s. broken and damaged 5s 3d to 5s 9d, ex store, sacks -extra-. Oats. —Theiv has been a good enquiry from shippers ;tnd owinjj to the very smali quantities offering prices have hardened ."lightly.
