Tyrell, Nicol and Sons, J. R. Bruce and Co.. Mereditu and Co. The Union Company's s.s. Whangape completed the ffscharge of her cargo last night and sailed for Oamaru and Dunedm, taking no cargo from here. - The Union Company's s.s. Waipori is due to-morrow from the West Coast, via Lvttelton, with a cargo of timber and coal. The s.s. Ripple (D. C. Turnbull and Go., agents), arrived from Oamaru yesterdav morning. She landed a few tons of sundries, loaded 120 tons of produce and sailed for Wanganui in the afternoon. The schooner Lizzie Taylor sailed early yesterday morning for Wellington. Very little wind was blowing during the day, consequently she made little headway and was close in shore all day.
