When the lease was -expiring defendant applied for some further consideration- on account of improvements effected on the- property, and the Board agreed to remit the halfyear's rent due on condition that nothing was inU-rf.-rc-l with on the. farm. Subsequently defendant- pulled up and io.mowd certain dividing fences, and the Board therefore rescinded its resolution granting th-:- nbate and decided to compel payment of the rent.
