A verv interesting golf match was played mi the Highfield Links yesterday between ,-i<rlit ladies- from the Oainaru (4olf Club and eight from Timaru. resulting in in v.in for the home team by one hole. In spite of the cold blustery weather not beiiiff conducive to the best play all ths> games wire very keenly contested, and the results showed that there was very little, to choose between the teams as far as strength was concerned.
