At the end of"this time it was deemed desirable to dismantle the Car to ascertain the amount of wear, oni the mechanical parts, and I am pleased' to inform you that the Club have eveiy reason to be satisfied with the result of this examination. The gears show only illv& slightest wear, and the ball bearings to sime are perfect: . Regarding the Enginle, only one of the big brasses want attention, the gudgeon pins being unmarked. : The valves and springs, are the original ones; supplied with the Car, and' are iii excellent condition'.
