Unknown miscreants in King's . county, which was* the scene of several prosecutions, for lawlessness and intimidation tied together the tails of a bull and cow at Fairy Hall farm, Cloughjordan. The cow's tail was completely pulled off. Mobs fired, volleys,.on .farmers' houses at Cranghwell and Iveigtireys, Galway, during tlw night, and a party of raiders proceeded at midnight to drive stock off a farm! at Athenry. • A strong force of police was compelled to fire on the rioters who returned the fire.
