The Taieri "was expected to sail front Grevmouth on this morning s tide, and •will arrive on Friday evening. Sihe ha? a cargo of 160,000 feet of timber, and quantity of cotl to land here. A lartnch which left TV Intkatana on Sunday -with three men. and was expected to return later irt the day. went astray. The occupants of the launch were Messrs Wvlk, Thompson and Wilson. Tliey had no provisions, and the weather has tempestuous. Later on yesterday new:; came that the launch and occupants were rescued by the s.s. Maugapapa. They aiv all -well. (By Cable.)
