Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, May 7. Ca Sunday last Mr Geo. Johnston, of Can:re Hill," was accidentally shot in the leg by a shooting companion named O'Leary. Tho latter's gun had gone wrong somehow, and as he was trying to fix it it exploded .striking Johneon, who was about 15 yards away, below the? knee. They were far from a habitation, but O'Leary earned his mats on his back till reached means of communication. «Six miles were through bush in the dark. Dr Mcllroy attended to Mr Johnston's, injuries. • '■ ' . ■
