Public meetings of Hindus against the British are being held in many towns; also rival pieetings of respectable Hindus. The Moslems dissociate themselves from the agitation. ARREST OF BARRISTERS. WATCHING MATTERS CAREFULLY. . CALCUTTA, May 6. Five native barristers at Rawalpindi have been arrested, and charged' with inciting to riot and arson, and making sedicious speeches. Bail was refused. The situation is lxdng eaifully watched, and any incitement to violence is being rigorously suppressed.
