There is sc-rious rioting at Rawalpindi. The mob burned motor cars, pillaged a mission church, and contractors' stores Armed police dispelled the rioters. A squadron of the Tenth Hussars is patrolling the town. MEASLES IN A PALACE. • MADRID, May 4.'. The children in the Royal Palace in Madrid are suffering from measles. EXPLOSION IN A MAGAZINE. PEKIN, May 4. An explosion of gun powder in a magazine at Canton killed 21 persons and injured hundreds. It destroyed 200 feet of the city walls. Fifteen dwellings were unroofed, including a house a mile distant. The .shock in the European quarter was terrific.
