BUSH AND GRASS FIRES.
PROPERTIES SERIOUSLY DAMAGED. United Press Association—Per Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY* November 27. Great bush and grass fires are raging out west. News from Pooncarie states that in the past seven days a number of stations have been devastated and that the fire is burning.over a distance of 200 miles towards Cobar. " The grass through this country is between three and four feet high and the flames rise to, a height of 70 feet. No man «an get within a mile of the fire, it being so fierce. Unless rain comes the country must be swept by the fire from the Darling to the Murray. THE FIRES STILL RAGING. Received 1.10 a.m., November 28th. !
