It appears that there are three parties in the new combination, a Sydney firm, a Melbourne firm, and one of the'biggest shipping firms in London. The "present capital of the combine is £i,0d0,000..' THE NEW HEBRIDES. Mr Deakin states that' a reply has been received in connection with the representations made in regard to the New Hebrides. It is that they have asked for certain alterations of the proposed agreement with France.
