A cyclist crashed through the wooden barrier used to guard a 'precipice, and fell two thousand feet sheer, at the excursion rendezvous of Sarnen, in the of Obdemvald, Switzerland TIRED OF- STRUGGLING. Per Press Association. A , AUCKLAND, June 26. Mr John Mcßae, aged forty, a cooper, shot himself dead in bed in Nelson street this morning at 8 o'clock. Deceased carried on business in Chancery Lane, and has been for a time over-working himself in order to struggle successfully against strong, competition, the result being v a general breakdown of the nervous system. His wife was preparing breakfast when the explosion occurred. Affectionate reTations existed between Mr Mcßae and : his wife and family. He leaves five small children. '
