LONDON, June 25. i The " Tribune " states that one thousand meetings have already been held demanding the release of Miss Billington, the suffragist who -went to prison for assaulting a police officer. The paper .condemns the Magistrate for vindictiveness, and demands Mr Asquith's resignation. Ten female suffragists were ejected from a Liberal mteting at Manchester.
