Clemenceau, Minister of the Interior, conferred with the Labour Federation at Courrieres. He promised to respect the right to strike, and not to send troops unless disturbances occurred; but he urged the men to remain calm. GREAT STRIKE OF MINERS. Received 10.47 p.m.. March 19Ui. PARIS, March 19. Forty thousand French miners have sturck. refusing the 10 per centum rise.
