All the other things realised good prices. On Saturday at my aeooms I held four sales, the first being my nsnal sale of poultry and produce. There 'was a good entry of the former, and v a ieen demand: Prices were as follows]:— Hens, 2s 6d, 2s 9d to 3s ; roosters, 3s 3d, 3s 6d to 4s; ducks, 3s 3s 6d, to 4s; all at per'pair. Turkey hens, 5s 6d to 6s; gobblers, 75.6d,,8s 6d to 9s each. At 12:30 i l clearing sale of building timber; -etc., efe'ryTot being cleared at from 22s 6d to 28s 6d per lot. There .was a- large attendance at the sale of bicycles and acces•ories, but .buyers'ideas of values.were not up to owners' expectations, and very few "srere cleared. Bicycle lamps, pedals, chains, sold well, and there was a good elearj anoe in this line. Mr Harris has, however, left the bicycles in my hands to do the best. I can for .him. At 1.30 I held' another successful sale of furniture, on behalf of Mrs Wilson,-; and after. selling till late in the afternoon it was impossible to dispose of all the furniture, but a of the balance ■will bje advertised shortly.
