The party blown) down the j-ide of the mountain, and were suspended over a, precipice 4000 feci deep, the rope alone raving them. Per Press Association AUCKLAND, Febnujy 9. A fireman named John Hennelfy. 24 years of age and single, was kil.ed by a fall from liis engine near Henderwn this morning. He was looking over the side of the engine when he overbalanced, striking his head against the buttress of ja bridge and -falling twenty feet. The top of liis skull was minced to pulp, death being instantaneous.
