Over 3000 bales were submitted. The sales showed a general advance, of a half-penny in nearly all classes over last year's sale. The advance was more , marked in inferior :than in higher grades, viz., id to -|d in the former, and id to £d in the latter. Locks and pieces had an easier tendency.
