LIONEL TERRY'S SENTENCE. ■Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 28. The statement that the Government has decided to commute Lionel Terry's sentence for the Haining street murder to imprisonment for life, is not correct. \ What Ministers have done is to make a recommendation to that effect. The recommendation has not yet reached his Excellency the Governor.
