Savage and Sons, a claim for £9970, for the alleged negligent use of % pressure burner in violation of the contract, • leading to the destruction of the Boys College, the Judge said that the issue was whtlier.such a burner caused the fire. The jury by an eleven-twelfths-- majority answered in the negative and returned a rerdict for defendants. The question of appeal is being considered, a fortnight being allowed for decision.
