Among the men, Pearse and Orr, fresh from their first-class practice in colonial and provincial tournaments were in splendid form. Play .a'l round was said by enthusiastic onlookers, of whom there was a large attendance, to be the i best ever seen at Waitohi. The "members of the home club entertained thjsir visitors at lunchoen at Mr and Mrs Orx's .residence, and dispensed very acceptable afternoon tea to a very large company..
