NEW PUPILS, before being admitted, must present Certificates of having passed the Fifth or a Higher Standard. FEES: £3 13s 4d per Term, subject to a Discount of 13s 4d, if paid within 21 days of the commencement of Term. Pupils who possess Sixth Standard " Certificates of Proficiency," and who were under 14 years of age on December 31st, 1903, will be admitted to FREE PLACES ; but those who will be under 14 on December 31st, 1904, should wait till February next, before entering, if they wish to get the full two years' Free Education. EXAMINATIONS will commence on _J TUESDAY, 6th December, 1904, for the following: Matriculation, Junior Scholarships, Senior National Scholaiships, Medical Preliminary, Solicitors' General Knowledge, and Barristers' General Knowledge. PLACES OF EXAMINATION : Auckland, Gisborne, Napier, New Plymouth, Stratford, Wanganui, Palmeiston North, Wellington, Nelson, Blenheim, Greymouth, Christchurch, Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin, Invercargill. Candidates are required to use Forms of Application, which may be had from the Registrar. Candidates' notices must be sent on or before MONDAY, 17th October, accompanied by the Examination Fee, or up to 31st October, with.a fine of Two Guineas extra to the Fee. Cheques must have exchange added, and Public Account Receipts or Stamps will not be accepted. FEES. For Matriculation, Medical Preliminary, or General Knowledge Examination ... Two Guineas For Junior Scholarship or Senior National Scholarship Examination One Guinea (In this cose a second Guinea is- payable if the Candidate matriculates.) Candidates for Junior Scholarships must be not less than 16, and not more than 19 years of age on Ist December, 1904. Fifteen Junior Scholarships, eacli of the annual value of £3O, and tenable for three years, are offered at this Examination. There will be an additional allowance of £2O mode to Scholars who require to live "away from home to attend a University College.
