NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS.

Elector—Women are quite eligible for election as members of school committees—in fact the committee of the Yaldhurst school, near Christchurch is composed entirely of women. According to a legal opinion given by the solicitors to the Wellington Education Board, the School Committees Election Act of last year gives the wife as well as the husband in each household the right to a seat on the committee.— Ed. T.H.

Letters which have been held over during the week are published in this morning's supplement.—Ed. T.H.
