NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS.

Although we endeavour to give early to letters, it frequently happens that it is impossible to avoid delay in inserting tlum. Correspondents, therefore, whose communications are not specifically declined, will please understand that their letters are only awaiting ft suitable opportunity to be published. Correspondents are also requested to use ink and to write on one side of the paper only. We cannot undertake to consider letters which transgress these ordinary rules. We must apain ask correspondents who favour a variety of newspapers with their communications to omit us from the list, as we cannot accept letters, copies of which linve been sent to other journals, or circular letters which secretaries of different organisations distribute broadcast.—Ed. T.H.
