The s.s. Paparoa sailed late on Saturday night for Lyttelton, with a cargo as above. The s.s. Koonva sailed at 1 a.m. on Saturday fop. Wellington and the West Coast, with 197 tons of produce, including 81 bales of wool. The'sjj. Rakaia (New Zealand Shipping Company) is expected at Timaru on Friday •ur Saturday, to land direct inward cargo, and to load meat, wool, etc. The s.J. Pukaki was due at Timaru this morning, but a westerly gale was blowing at Wes'port, and a heavy, sea running on the brw on Saturday morning, making it doubtful whether she could get away that day. The s.:>. Pakeha will return from Wellington this morning, to 5 load about 10,000 carcases of mutton,, and 1200 bales of wool, ■with tallow and pelts. She will then go to Lyttelton.
