He was also charged with getting on the express train, while it was in motion. Sergeant Warring described the occurrence, and expressed the opinion that Walsh's escapei iwas almost a miracle, as he was falling between' the platform and the train when he was caught. Accused is a Chrintchurch man, and was going home. ." The Bench pointed out to accused the foolishness of his action, and said that be had only the bystanders to thank that he was • not killed. Accused was convicted for the drunkenness, and fined 40s for boarding the train in motion.
