Subject to any necessary alterations, mails will close as under: ■ Tuesday, August 11th. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Rotomahana, at 3.45 p.m. Friday, August 14th. For the Australian States (via Wellington), and Northern Ports of New Zealand, at 6 a.m. Saturday, August 15th. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, ,South Africa, Ceylon, India, China, etc., and Australian States, (via Bluff), at 2 p.m.; due in London September 22nd. Tuesday, August 18th. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, 'United States- of America, Canada, (via San Francisco), Japan, Hawaii and Samoa, per Sonoma, as /follows :—Money orders, registered letters, book packets and newspapers, 2.30 p.m.; ordinary letters at 3 -p.m.; late fee-letters c.p.o. until 4 p.m., and at mail van north express until 4.33 p.m.; due in London.\September 19th.

' Mail' for United States of America, Canada', Fiji, etc., per Moura (specially - addressed via Vancouver), close at Auckland on 12th August, at 11 a.nV.
