ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.

j Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 5. A somewhat remarkable tramcar accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on College Hill. A line of cars went off the line at- the bend .at the bottom of the- hill, and collided With one of the tramway poles, # shaking off the top portion of the pole. The top of the pole fell on'the back part of the car, striking a man named Wilson, an employee of the Tramway Company. Wilson had his head cut and bruised, and sustained slight concussion. A female passenger was thrown down beside the car, but was not seriously hurt. -
