Hawea will .reach Timaru this jt morning. .Slie lands 75 tons of sugar and' timber, an.l will load about ,1000 tons,ofj produce for Auckland and Napier. The s.-s. lioonya is due here on the 6th inst. from VVeiiport, with a cargo of coal; for the Westport ..Coal i Company. - The..s.s. Corinna is due here this morning from ihe south, to land 35 tons off general-cargo.-and is expected to load 250tons of pi-win ce for Wellington and the West Coast. The s.s. Pakeha. due here to-morrow, ■will stay'here till Tuesday, when she sails for Lytteitnn. Jeavinc for London about the 16th inst. ' She will take from Timaru about 20,000 carcases "of mutton, 400 bales of wool, and '2O casks of pells. The harbour has "been very dull for-the pastfew <!ay.vbt!t-wiU'liven up again with the advent'of the Pakeha. The run of large steamers which have lately' been to', Timaru so frequently 'has probably' slackened for a -while now.
