Upolu arrived from the south at 10 o'clock yesterday morning, with 150 tons of general cargo "and 25 horses. She left for Oamaru and Dunedin at 4 o'clock and will go into dock at Dunedin for her •isual overhaul. s.s. Rakaia arrived from Waitara at 6 o'clock yesterday morning. She loads iere 2COO bales «:f wool. 250 casks of tallow and 16,0G0 freight carcases. She is expected to finish loading by this evening and will then leave for Lyttelton. The s.s. Janet Xicoil arrived from the south at 7 o'clock yesterday morning. She landed 75 tons of general cargo and shipped 150 tons of produce for Wellington and the West Coast and sailed for Lyttelton early last evening. Messrs D. G. Tumbml and Co.'s smart little bsrncenn'ne L= Bella left Newcastle yesterday, with a cargo of coal for Mr Johnllee. She made the passage last time in seven days, ao may be expected to put in an appearance next week.
