Per Press Association. HOKITIKA, March 9. All the Fire Brigade delegates are now here. Those arriving on Saturday had a hearty reception, and at night took part in a torchlight procession and fireworKs display in tne- presence of a large gathering of the public. To-day a churcn para&e was held, the representatives, headed by the local band, taking part-. The conference begins at 9 o'clock on Monday morning. The present is the second occasion in seven years since the conference was held here, the dual honour being quite a record for a town of the size of Hokitika. The weather has cleared, and promises to set fine during the stay of the visitors, who are having a good time.
