A general strike has take£ place at Zaragozo. Great excitement prevails throughout the valley of -the river Ter in the provinces of Barcelona and Gerona. Martial law has been proclaimed at Zaragozo and Tarragona. The warship Pelays lias been ordered to Barcelona. Artillery was used in the streets when the strikers attacked the gaol. • The postal service is suspended, and the riots have extended to 12 towns. Fighting has occurred at Reno, Malaxa, Tarrasa and Zaragozo. Received 5.2 p.m., February 23rd. MADRID, Februaiy 22. Traffic at Barcelona is being resumed.
