THE GERMAN NAVY. BERLIN, February 9. Vice-Admiral Tirpita, German Minister of the Navv, speaking in the Reichstag, said it was impossible to postpone till 1910 commissioning additional ships. .He estimated the yearly increase in naval expenditure after 1906 to be 8,000,000 instead of 6,000,000 marks, as provided m the Navy Bill of 1900. The discission elicited that it was Germany's intention to place four battleships and additional cruisers and gunboats on the CBinn, sta* tion.
CHRISTIAN SCIENTISTS. The Kaiser ordered the police *o sufpress the Christian Scientists' meetings.
