MASONIC.

DUNEDIN, November 7. The semi-annual communication of .the New Zealand Grand Lodge of Freemasons, was held to-day. The G.M., 'Bro. Russell, presided, and there was a fair attendance of delegates. A summary of the Grand Lodge funds shows that the balances on September 30th were : —General fund, £790 lis 7d; fund of benevolence, £2227 18s 6d; Masonic widows and orphans' fund, £875 16s 9d; aged and indigent members' fund, £4089 13s 4d. The Grand Master mentioned that nothing of importance had transpired during the year. It was stated l that Bro. H. J. Williams, P.D.G.M., Wellington, would probably be the next Grand Master.
